Major responsibilities as Developer Programmer are as below but not limited to:

• Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
• Upgrading existing software or developing new software applications alone or in a team.
• Consulting with departments or customers on project status and proposals. Testing software to ensure the code is correct, fixing ('debugging') Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications,standards, and programming.
• Analyse, design, coordinate and supervise the development of software systems to form abasis for information processing problems. Tests new programs to ensure that logic and syntax are correct and that program resultsare accurate; assists lower-level programmers with programming assignments.

• Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including overseeing new employees on boarding andproviding assistance and opportunities.
• Lead employees to meet the organization’s expectations for productivity, quality,continuous improvement, and goal accomplishment.
• Document code consistently throughout the development process by listing a description ofthe program, special instructions, and any changes made in database tables.
• Analyse current programs, including performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting ofproblem programs, and designing solutions to problematic programming.
• Conducts system analysis and development to keep the systems contemporary withchanging technologies.
• Responds promptly and professionally to bug reports. Reviews and repairs legacy code.
• Work with Human Resources staff to recruit, interview, select, hire and employ an appropriate number of employees.
